Identifying and Treating Betrayal Trauma, Infidelity, and Problematic Sexual Behaviors, Section 2 of 4

CE Hours 3

About this course

In this class, we’ll build on what we learned in Section 1 of Identifying and Treating Betrayal Trauma, Infidelity, and Problematic Sexual Behaviors. We will explore the multifaceted approach required for healing, including individual, couples, and group counseling. We’ll discuss the importance of establishing stabilization and safety, understanding emotional needs, and fostering a robust support system. You’ll also learn about the 5 Principles of Identifying and Treating Betrayal Trauma, Infidelity, and Problematic Sexual Behaviors, the Pyramid of Intimacy, and the recovery process. Together, we’ll uncover practical tools, such as recovery plans, trauma cycles, and escape patterns, to support healing and connection. Please remember, this material may evoke strong emotional reactions as it addresses deeply personal and often painful experiences. Take care of yourself as you engage with the content, and seek support if needed. If you have any questions, please reach out for support.
